While wandering around Zamami Island in Okinawa during the off-season, I spent an afternoon strolling along a completely deserted coastline. The summer crowds were long gone, and the tropical island had settled into a deep, peaceful silence. As I approached another beach from above, I noticed beautiful pine branches stretching across the view, naturally framing an empty, cozy cove. I composed this shot to capture the deeply pleasant and quiet atmosphere of the quiet coastline. Standing there alone in the gentle ocean breeze, the world seemed incredibly slow. I hope this photo brings a bit of that quiet coastal solitude to your day.
